Beyonce Knowles and her Mom, Tina Knowles talk baby and fashion. The two got together for an interview with CNN to discuss their duel fashion line, House of Dereon, along with how excited Beyonce is that she’s knocked up. Oh joy!

They both talked about how they have the same taste in fashion, which helps them make decisions of what gets put out on their line. They both think that their fashion line is for strong, successful and independent women who have something to prove, and want to be noticed. If you haven’t heard of Florence + The Machine you live under a rock or are stuck back in time. So, here’s you chance to come back to reality and listen to some good junk. Florence wasn’t really my cup of tea when that song ‘Dog Days Are Over’ came out, and I found it made my ears, nasal passages and fingers bleed a little as I clutched the table due to the horrible noise coming out of my computer.

Then I listened to ‘Comic Love’ from Alice In Wonderland, and I thought it was good and I began liking her. THEN, [hold onto your mouse for this one] I heard the song ‘What The Water Gave Me’ and quite literally fell off my rocker. I cannot even express how in love with this song I am. I’ve listened to it every morning before school, [along with 'She Will' by Lil Wayne] and then come home and listen to it. Continue reading »

Amy Winehouse and Tony Bennett – Body And Soul

As I wrote in my previous article, Tony Bennett and Amy Winehouse did a duet together for Tony Bennett’s new Album, Duet II. The video was do to be released on her birthday, September 14th, of her and Bennett performing “Body and Soul.”

I said I’m sure it would be interesting to see the collaboration between Bennett and the beehive-crazed, funky (but talented) singer. Also what’s really cool about this is, if you do buy this song, all proceeds will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Amy Winehouse Tony Bennett Duet “Body and Soul” Video Premier Date

Fans of the late “Rehab” singer, Amy Winehouse will get to take a look at some of the last stuff she ever did on Wednesday, Sept 14th. She performed the duet song “Body and Soul” with the legendary singer, Tony Bennett which was recorded on March 23 at Abbey Road Studios in London. He decided to release a clip of the video that was shot during the time they were both in the studio on what would have been ‘Winehouse’s 28th birthday.

I’m sure it will be interesting to see the collaboration between Bennett and the beehive-crazed, funky (but talented) singer. All proceeds from the songs sales will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation for orphaned children and supporting stopping addiction. That’s slightly contradictory. Har har! Continue reading »
